Chapter 2: The "NO" Stage
Continuing the discussion of child behavior with major elements in chronological order, this chapter discusses one of the most frustrating behaviors in two year olds, and the tendency to become very negative and respond with "NO" to many situations. The chapter takes a brief look on how a child is actually trained to say "no" and how this can be avoided. The discussion is centered on the child's environment and the people within it who may be using "no" frequently there by providing training of a young child in the use and power of this word.
